SharpCuts AI uses artificial intelligence to help barbershops run day to day. We believe in being transparent about where AI is involved, what it can and cannot do, and how you stay in control.

Where We Use AI

• AI Receptionist: answering calls, texts, and chats to book and reschedule appointments.
• Smart Booking: suggesting times, filling openings, and preventing double-booking.
• Reminders & Follow-Ups: sending confirmations, reminders, and re-booking or win-back messages based on your rules.
• Client Memory: summarizing preferences, history, and notes to personalize service.
• Insights: surfacing revenue, retention, and schedule trends.

Human Oversight & Control

The AI operates within rules you create and is designed to keep you informed. You can review activity, adjust rules, and override or change AI-assisted actions. The barber remains the decision-maker for the business.

Accuracy & Limitations

AI can make mistakes, misunderstand requests, or produce incomplete results. Suggestions and automated messages should be treated as helpful assistance, not guaranteed outcomes. Please review actions that materially affect your schedule, clients, or revenue.

Voice & Call Handling

When enabled, the AI receptionist may answer phone calls on your behalf and generate transcripts and summaries. You are responsible for providing any disclosures or obtaining any consents required in your jurisdiction, including for call recording where applicable.

Data Used to Power AI

AI features use your shop and client data — such as appointments, preferences, and communications — to perform tasks for you. We handle this data in line with our Privacy Policy and do not sell it.
