Getting started
How long does setup take?
Most shops are live in under 15 minutes. Add your services and barbers, set your hours, and BOA starts handling calls and texts and taking bookings right away.
Do I need new hardware?
No. SharpCuts AI runs in your browser and on your phone. Your existing business number can forward to BOA — nothing to install.
Can I bring my existing clients?
Yes. Import from a CSV or your current tool and BOA builds each client's history and preferences automatically over time.

Is there a long-term contract?

Can referrals cover my subscription?
Yes. The Partner Program pays recurring monthly credits for every active referral — roughly ten active referrals can cover a whole subscription.
Messaging & privacy
Are the text messages compliant?
Yes. Consent is an explicit opt-in — no checkbox is pre-selected — every message supports STOP and HELP, and opting in is never a condition of booking. We never sell your clients' mobile information or share it for marketing.
Will my clients get spammed?
No. Appointment texts are transactional (confirmations and reminders). Promotions are strictly opt-in and kept separate from appointment consent.
Who owns the data?
You do. Your client data is yours — you can export or delete it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
